“GOOD OUT OF BAD”

It is easy to thank and praise God if we are experiencing blessings, success in life and our prayer is answered by God, on the other hand if we are experiencing problems, disappointments we tend to question God’s goodness in our life, that’s why people don’t want to experience problem, but in reality we cannot exclude problems in our life. The purpose of this article will broaden our perspective towards difficulties in life and positively welcoming problems in our life.
Life is full of ups and down, there are times that we are in good situation and sometimes we are in the midst of problems, trials in life. When people experiencing problems, they stay away from God instead of asking help from HIM they solve it in their own way. That’s why they become frustrated and discouraged because they cannot solve it.
Problem is not always bad sometimes it help us to deepen our faith in God, to develop our character and to have an intimate relationship with HIM. Most of us knows that problem is a way of God to remind us in our relationship with HIM, unfortunately, people forget it because they are too busy solving problems in their own way. We must respond to all problems in God’s way. Now how can we respond to the problems properly and positively?
Firstly, we should understand that problem is an instrument of God to correct us. To correct our faith and our character, many times we tend to trust in our ability, educational attainment or in our wealth; we think that we are sufficient enough to drive our life in our own way. But the truth, we cannot. Always remember all our possessions, position in our life comes from God, instead of thanking HIM we get the credit because we believe we work for it which is contrary to HIS will. That’s why God send problems to us to correct and remind us that HE is the source of everything in our life.
Secondly, in order for us respond properly to the problem we must be “prayerful”. Instead of questioning God’s intervention and authority or arguing God “why me LORD” (why you allow it to happen to me, there are many people in this world who deserve to experience this). We should become more prayerful in order to understand the situation. Only God can explain to us why we are experiencing difficulties. In times of this PRAYER is the best weapon so that we will not be discouraged and defeated. Be honest to God, Talk to Him privately, about your doubts, feelings and faithlessness in certain situation, ask wisdom from Him and eventually God will reveal His greater purpose in allowing this situation in your life.
Thirdly, to understand God deeper we must learn how to surrender to GOD. In Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”. (NKJV).
It means that everything happens to us whether good or bad is controlled by God. Nothing happens without HIS permission that’s why the best thing we should do is to fully surrender our life to GOD. If we learn to fully give our life to HIM we are rest assured that we can overcome all things in spite of difficulties. Totally surrendering our life to GOD will give us joy, satisfaction and peace of mind. And I assure you, no one regrets when he learns to submit his life to God.
When problem comes what is the first thing you do. Do you do it in your own way or you do it in GOD’S ways? Your reaction will determine if you have a closer relationship to God. To respond to the problem properly we should think that problems are instrument of God to correct us, be prayerful and learn to surrender to God.
